I’ve always been someone who notices things. I love a long dinner, music playing while I cook, and the kind of conversations that make you forget to check the time. In a world that moves quickly, I’m probably most comfortable paying attention.

That carries naturally into the way I photograph people. I’m fascinated by relationships, the subtle exchanges between them, and the things that happen without being announced. Creating an environment where people feel comfortable enough to be themselves is an important part of my work.

Weddings bring together so much of what I’m drawn to: people, fashion, design, beautiful spaces and personal style. The relationships are always at the centre, but the setting matters too. The architecture, the light, what you chose to wear, the table you spent months thinking about. Together, those details give a celebration its character.

I photograph the day as it unfolds, with a light touch. I’ll offer direction when it’s useful, then step back and allow things to happen naturally. I’m interested in photographs that are beautifully composed, but never at the expense of what was actually happening in front of me. For me, photography has always been less about creating moments and more about recognising the ones worth keeping.
